Mary Virginia Dunn, born on August 28, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, in New Braunfels, Texas, at the age of 79.
We wanted to share some cherished memories of our beloved Mary. She graduated high school in San Antonio, Texas, at Sam Houston High back in 1963.
Mary was also a beacon of strength and compassion, serving as a caregiver to her grandmother, mother, and husband before they passed.
Mary’s dedication extended beyond her family. She was the office manager and bookkeeper for the family business at Radiator Service Co and Gene’s Brake and Alignment Service, where her hard work and meticulous attention to detail were evident every day.
In her early years, she and her family loved to go fishing in the surf and on a boat. Her hobbies later, included Bowling for many years where she made so many loving friends. She also enjoyed creating diamond art painting. She was truly loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mary’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion. Her memory will continue to inspire and live on in our hearts.

With broken hearts we say goodbye to our beloved Mary. She is free from the pain and suffering, but we will all miss her so very much. Until we meet again. Tell Daddy we miss him too.
Mary has been a long time cherished friend whom I met through her precious dog, Oliver. I got to embrace her beautiful sisters as well through our friendship. She was the first to always answer my plea to help with any dog rescue or aide I was sponsoring. She was a woman who had the most generous, compassionate, kindest heart. We had wonderful times at my tea parties & she loved dressing for the occasion. I am going to miss her immensely, but I know she is no longer in any pain or discomfort. You hold a very special place in my heart forever dear friend.
Mary was a very kind lady with such a fun loving spirit. I am so happy I got to know and visit with her over the past few years.
Hearing your laugh, miss you my friend.
