Donna Fay Reed

donna reed

Donna Reed, 59, of Canyon Lake, Texas, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on September 22, 2025. Born on June 8, 1966, in Houston, Donna was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Sandra Lupton.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Donna’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Dean Reed; her sons Dustin Fears and Daniel Taormina (wife Jessica); and her treasured grandchildren Leah, Lyla, Hazel, Tobiasz, and Elias. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Debbie (James) Papet, Pam (Alan) Broussard, Thomas (Lesa) Lupton, David Lupton, and Brian (Natalie) Lupton, along with many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her son Christopher Wohl, whose memory she carried in her heart, and her parents Thomas and Sandra.

Nothing on earth brought her more happiness than being “Grandma.” Her grandchildren were her world and she delighted in every moment with them—whether reading stories, sharing giggles, planning little adventures, or simply sitting side-by-side watching the deer in the yard. She celebrated every milestone, big or small, and poured her boundless love and encouragement into their lives. Her home and her heart were always open to them, and the memories they built together will remain a guiding light for each child as they grow.

Donna’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. A firm believer in God, she found peace and purpose in Christian music, long talks with loved ones, and the beauty of nature—especially watching deer in her yard or tending her garden. She loved beach trips, embraced holistic living, and was known for her unwavering convictions and her radiant inner and outer beauty. Above all, she looked forward with joy to the heavenly reunion with her son.

Guestbook

  1. For Donna, Our Treasure

Lord of comfort, hear our cry,
As tears like rivers still run dry.
    Donna’s laughter, soft and bright,
Glows with You in endless light.

She loved her grandbabies, heart and soul,
Their smiles the place she felt most whole.
Her sons—her world, her greatest pride—
Forever held close, still by her side.

    A daddy’s girl, with nature’s grace,
Green leaves and sunlight framed her face.
God-fearing heart, both strong and mild,
Your faithful servant, Your precious child.

Most precious aunt a niece could know,
Her kindness made our spirits grow.
Now gather us, Lord, beneath Your wing,
Until the day we too will sing.

Heal our sorrow, deepen our love,
Guide our hearts to Your home above.
    Through every memory, every prayer,
Remind us, Lord, she’s safely there.

    Amen.
