Born in: Houston, Texas
Resided in: New Braunfels, Texas

Antonio (Tony) Gonzales Terrazas, Jr. passed away on November 16, 2025 in New Braunfels, Texas. He was the son of Antonio G. Terrazas, Sr. and Hermosa Gonzales Terrazas and was born on April 11, 1972 in Houston, Texas.

Tony graduated from Adrian High School in Adrian, Michigan. Immediately following school, he entered the workforce. A few years later, he made the honorable decision to serve in the Army. Tony was proud of his service to his country, always spreading thanks to those who served before, with, and after him.

Growing up, Tony was always submerged in Tejano music and culture. His father, Antonio Terrazas Sr., taught him to play the accordion. He began by playing in his family’s church and went on to continue playing throughout his whole life. After his wife and children, being an accomplished accordion player was one of Tony’s proudest talents. He spent many days and nights playing in his living room and kitchen for his family, as well as on many stages and venues for thousands of others to dance and sing along.

Tony would spend his weekends that he wasn’t performing at home with his wife, Jamie, and their three daughters; Cesilie, Shianne, and Antonia. During football season you could find him dressed in Michigan Wolverines gear every Saturday and Detroit Lions gear every Sunday. He was an avid fan of both teams, always dressing to the nines on game days. During off-seasons, he enjoyed traveling and taking his family on excursions and adventures. He would always look for ways to live life to the fullest any way he could.

Tony was a loving husband, dedicated father to his three daughters, and extremely proud grandfather to his two grandchildren.

Antonio is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jamie Terrazas; children, Cesilie Castle, Shianne and Antonia Terrazas; son-in-law, Jordan Castle; grandchildren, Kyren and Sofia Castle; and his sister, Enedelia Lewis.

Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio G. Terrazas, Sr. and Hermosa Gonzales Terrazas, as well as his brothers, Henry and Ruben Terrazas.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Lux Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 PM with a Service at 6:00 PM. Family is asking that people in attendance wear apparel for Detroit Lions or University of Michigan, as a way to honor Tony’s two favorite sports teams.
