Jaime Martinez

Jaime John Martinez, 63, passed away on February 3, 2026 in Austin, Texas.  He was born in New Braunfels, Texas, on August 27, 1962, to Arnulfo and Margarita Martinez.

Jaime was a hardworking man. He loved to watch football, especially the Longhorns. He enjoyed being with family; listening to music, barbecuing and drinking a cold beer.

Preceded in death by parents. He is survived by his children, Michael Hernandez, Shelby Martinez, and Crystal Torres; his loving grandkids; and siblings, Christina Garcia, Javier Martinez, Linda Rodriguez, Rosemary Saucedo and Fidencio Vasquez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary to start at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 23, 2026 at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with a procession to follow to Comal Cemetery.
