Mary T. Bustamante

March 16, 1944 – March 20, 2026

Mary Bustamante, 82, of New Braunfels, TX, was born to Pedro, Sr. and Crisanta Edison in Goliad, TX.  She married her first love of 66 years, Justo (Johnny) G. Bustamante on March 5, 1960.

Mother to her only daughter, Carrie Bustamante and her five sons, Manny, Justo, III, Ray, David and Rudy Bustamante.  You could always find Mary yelling “bingo” with her amazing family and friends or even sitting in her favorite chair with her two fur babies, Bella and Freckles Bustamante.

On March 20, 2026, Mary Bustamante passed away peacefully to be with the Lord.  She was surrounded by her loving husband and everyone that loved her so very much.

She was a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.  She was everyone’s joy and forever will be missed.

Mary is survived by her husband, Johnny; children, Carrie, Justo, Ray (Kathy), David (Gayla) and Rudy (Dorinda); grandchildren, Justin, Kintana (Joey), Renea (Gustavo), Casey (Regan), Jesse and Alisa; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ariana, Anabella and Abel; siblings, Lupe, Pat, Justa and Robert.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents; son, Manny; brothers, Henery, Thomas, Pedro, Jr., David, Louis and Raymond.

“Come to Me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
