Argentina Canales

With unwavering faith in Christ, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend, Argentina (Argie) Canales Madrid, who entered into the presence of her Savior on July 9, 2026.

Argentina was born in Honduras, El Progreso on December 22, 1961, on the first day of winter. She was born to Anacleto and Angelica Madrid.

From an early age, she carried a curious and independent spirit. She loved riding her bicycle and enjoying the simple freedom it brought her.

She was one of the hardest-working people anyone could know. Throughout her life, Argie was always willing to do whatever was necessary to provide for and care for the people she loved. She took on many different jobs over the years, but her heart was always in wanting to be a nurse. She had a natural desire to comfort, serve, and care for people in their moments of need.

Argie dedicated her life to her family. She loved her husband, her daughters, her siblings, and her grandchildren deeply and selflessly. She was the kind of person who carried the needs of those she loved as if they were her own. She worked, sacrificed, encouraged, and gave freely so that her family would always feel supported.

Her greatest joy was being a mother to her four daughters. She loved each of them fiercely and unconditionally.

Argie’s faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She was a devoted Christian who loved God, followed His Word, and found strength in His promises. She loved singing worship songs and praising the Lord, and her faith remained a source of comfort and courage throughout every season of her life.

She had a playful sense of humor, a strong personality, and a presence that could fill a room. Those who loved her will forever remember her jokes, her laughter, and her generosity.

Argie faced her final illness with the same strength and determination that defined her life. She fought courageously and endured more than most could imagine. Even through great suffering, her life remained a testimony of perseverance, faith, and love.

She is survived by her loving husband, her three daughters, her cherished grandchildren, her beloved siblings, and many extended family members and friends whose lives were forever changed by her love and care.

Although our hearts are broken by her absence, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. We trust she has been made whole, welcomed into the arms of her Savior, and reunited with her beloved daughter.

Argie leaves behind a legacy of faith, sacrifice, resilience, laughter, and unconditional love. Her voice, her strength, her humor, and her devotion to her family will never be forgotten. She will continue to live through the stories we share, the lessons she taught us, and the love she placed in each of our hearts.

En Amorosa Memoria de Argentina Canales Madrid

Con una fe inquebrantable en Cristo, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada madre, esposa, hermana, abuela y amiga, Argentina (Argie) Canales Madrid, quien entró en la presencia de su Salvador el 9 de julio de 2026.

Argentina nació en El Progreso, Honduras, el 22 de diciembre de 1961, el primer día del invierno. Fue hija de Anacleto y Angélica Madrid.

Desde muy pequeña se distinguió por su espíritu curioso e independiente. Le encantaba andar en bicicleta y disfrutar de la libertad que eso le brindaba.

Fue una de las personas más trabajadoras que cualquiera pudiera conocer. A lo largo de su vida, Argie siempre estuvo dispuesta a hacer todo lo necesario para proveer y cuidar de las personas que amaba. Desempeñó distintos trabajos, pero en su corazón siempre vivió el deseo de ser enfermera. Tenía una vocación natural para consolar, servir y cuidar de los demás en sus momentos de necesidad.

Argie dedicó su vida a su familia. Amó profundamente y de manera incondicional a su esposo, a sus hijas, a sus hermanos y a sus nietos. Era una mujer que hacía suyas las necesidades de quienes amaba. Trabajó, se sacrificó, animó y dio generosamente para que su familia siempre se sintiera apoyada y protegida.

Su mayor alegría fue ser madre de sus cuatro hijas. Amó a cada una de ellas con todo su corazón y de manera incondicional.

La fe de Argie en Jesucristo fue el fundamento de su vida. Fue una cristiana devota que amó a Dios, siguió Su Palabra y encontró fortaleza en Sus promesas. Le encantaba cantar alabanzas y exaltar el nombre del Señor, y su fe fue una fuente constante de consuelo y valentía en cada etapa de su vida.

Tenía un gran sentido del humor, una personalidad fuerte y una presencia que llenaba cualquier lugar. Quienes la conocieron siempre recordarán sus bromas, su risa contagiosa y su generosidad.

Argie enfrentó su última enfermedad con la misma fortaleza y determinación que caracterizaron toda su vida. Luchó con valentía y soportó más de lo que muchos podrían imaginar. Aun en medio del sufrimiento, su vida fue un testimonio de perseverancia, fe y amor.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, sus tres hijas, sus queridos nietos, sus amados hermanos, así como numerosos familiares y amigos cuyas vidas fueron marcadas para siempre por su amor y su cuidado.

Aunque nuestros corazones están quebrantados por su ausencia, encontramos consuelo al saber que ya no sufre más. Confiamos en que ha sido restaurada por completo, recibida en los brazos de su Salvador y reunida con su amada hija.

Argie deja un legado de fe, sacrificio, fortaleza, alegría y amor incondicional. Su voz, su fuerza, su sentido del humor y su entrega a su familia jamás serán olvidados. Seguirá viviendo en las historias que compartimos, en las enseñanzas que nos dejó y en el amor que sembró en cada uno de nuestros corazones.
