Maria Martinez Campos

Maria Martinez Campos, 67, gained her wings at her home surrouded by family on August 5, 2026, in New Braunfels, Texas, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a love that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She was born in Pleasanton, Texas, on August 27th 1958, to Santiago and Herminia Martinez.

Maria will always be remembered for her warm heart, welcoming spirit, and the way she made her family and friends feel at home. She had a special gift for making people feel invited, loved, and comfortable whenever they were around her. Maria was a loving and welcoming presence to her children and all of their friends. She never cared how many children came through her door—there was always room for one more. She made sure no one ever went hungry, and her home was often filled with laughter, jokes, and happy memories. You could hardly ever see Maria without her coffee in hand. Her coffee was almost as much a part of her as her beautiful personality and the joy she brought to those around her. Maria enjoyed the simple things in life that brought her happiness. She loved playing Bingo, swimming, and listening to music.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo U. Campos Sr; her granddaughter, Ylija Gomez; her parents, Jim and Herminia Martinez; her brothers, Tony and Tomas; and her sister, Aurora

She is survived by her children, Domingo Campos Jr. and wife, Casandra, Orlando Campos and wife, Mia, Sarah Gomez and husband, Rico, Daniela Campos and Victoria Campos; 15 grandchildren, Dimitri, Cross, Cadalina, Jazlin, Reyna, Destynee, Katalina, Orlando, Zane, Xavier, Rico, Anastacia, Nick, Lanaiya and Jakob; 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Beatrice Castilleja and husband, Jose, Lily Wallis and husband, Richard and Roy Martinez and wife, Elizabeth. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on August 15th, 2026 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and service starting at 10:00 am at Iglesia Bethel: 385 N Grape Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130

Pallbearers include Dimitri Ramirez, Nathan Luera, Nick Gomez, Rico Gomez, JC Castilleja, Eli Martinez and escorted by Orlando Campos and Jacob Castilleja
