Kenny Lux founded Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services and serves as President and Funeral Director in Charge. He entered the funeral profession in 1994 as a Funeral Director and Embalmer, considers the work his calling, and takes pride in running an independent, family-owned business that treats every family as its own.

Valerie Costello has been a valued member of the Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC. team since 2011, serving as a proficient Manager, skilled Funeral Director, and meticulous Embalmer. Valerie takes immense pride in her ability to prepare departed loved ones for their final viewing, with a keen focus on dressing, applying cosmetics, and providing attentive care to ensure that families are left with a positive lasting image of their loved ones. In 2008, she graduated from Mortuary school with an Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science and has continued to refine her craft through careful observation and making changes as needed, with a particular expertise in cosmetics application and hair styling.

Corina Barron has been an esteemed member of the Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC. team since 2016, serving as a compassionate Funeral Director, skilled Embalmer, and dedicated Pre-Need Counselor. Her deep passion for her work stems from the profound opportunity it provides to support grieving families and guide them through the healing process with meaningful funerals. Corina thrives on engaging in heartfelt conversations with individuals, as it allows her to truly understand their needs and offer the utmost level of care. Building connections and providing the highest quality of service bring her immense joy and fulfillment.

Katie Bullock, a dedicated Funeral Director at Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, finds great fulfillment in providing assistance to her community during times of need. Witnessing the unity and support that emerges within the community during moments of loss brings her immense joy. In 2013, Katie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Concordia University of Irvine, equipping her with a solid foundation to excel in her profession. Outside of her work, she cherishes precious moments with her loving husband and their three beautiful children.

Joe, a native of San Antonio, TX, has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 38 years. After he graduated from Seguin High School, he attended and graduated from Commonwealth School of Mortuary Science in Houston, TX. Joe has been involved in all aspects of the funeral business and has worked at several different funeral homes throughout the years. He enjoys meeting people and helping them out in their time of need. He currently lives in the San Antonio area and has been married for 33 years. Joe enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, bike riding and watching sports on TV.

Owen Lux joined Lux Funeral Home in 2019 as a Funeral Assistant, driven by his genuine desire to support those in need. The daily encounters with heartfelt stories not only inspire him but also reinforce his dedication to serving families in his community. Owen finds great joy in New Braunfels, with its picturesque river, delectable cuisine, and an overall sense of tranquility that permeates the town. During his free time, he enthusiastically trains in jiu jitsu and cherishes the company of his friends, further enriching his life. Owen Lux’s unwavering commitment to helping others and his diverse interests make him an invaluable asset to the Lux Funeral Home team.

Darby is a San Antonio College student with an Associates in Mortuary Science. With a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to honoring every life with dignity, Darby Morris serves families with grace, empathy, and professionalism during their most difficult moments. Darby brings both experience and heart to every service, ensuring that each farewell is as unique as the life being remembered. Whether guiding loved ones through planning or offering a supportive presence during times of grief, Darby is devoted to providing comfort, clarity, and care to every family served.

Rick, a native of Texas, is a semi-retired pastor, having served in full time ministry for over 45 years. He was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and moved to New Braunfels in 1992. He has shared with literally hundreds of families in their times of loss and is proud to serve with the Lux family in caring for the tender needs of others.
