Bill Gray,74, of New Braunfels Texas, died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 25, 2025.

He was born in Odessa, Texas on May 20, 1951, to Warren and Gwendolyn Gray. Bill graduated from Permian High School in Odessa before studying at DeVry Institute of Technology. He spent 30 years as a service technician, quality specialist and manager at Xerox. He later went on to work for ThermoCraft designing and printing business cards as well as advertising materials.

Bill took an active roll in the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association at the New Braunfels police department. He served on the Board in numerous capacities, including President, for several years. During his time with the CPA Bill most enjoyed the many years he spent serving as the Blue Santa Chair.

During retirement, Bill took great pride building a model train layout at his home and having friends over for operating sessions. He also enjoyed spending time woodworking and gardening.

Bill’s most cherished moments were shared with his Grandson, Cameron. They spent countless hours “working” in the shop on projects, running operations in the train room, making memories riding the lawn mower with each other, and playing video and board games. They would even sit in the car for hours watching trains with the guys.

Bill was preceded in death by his mom, Gwendolyn Gray and his dad Warren Gray. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Barbara Gray, his daughter Whitney Williams, his son-in-law Sean Williams, his grandson Cameron Tovar, his sister Lynn Betts and mother-in-law Margarett Haines.

The family will have a memorial reception on Saturday August 2nd from 11:00 AM to 2:00PM at 1638 Sunspur Dr., New Braunfels, TX 78130. They invite you to stop by anytime during these hours to share memories of Bill with them and enjoy some refreshments.
