Celia Lujan

Celia Flores Lujan of Katy, Texas went to be with our Lord March 15, 2026 at the age of 92.  She was born August 4, 1933 in Presidio, Texas and spent most of her adult life in Van Horn, Texas.

Celia was a homemaker admired for her beautiful quilts and crocheted afghans.  She was renowned for her delicious authentic Mexican cooking.  She served our Lord as a Eucharistic Minister for many years and was devoted to the Blessed Virgin.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hilaria Polanco and Lucas Flores; siblings Benito, Salvador, Lillia, Alvaro, Alonzo and Aida; her husband of 68 years, Antonio Deanda Lujan; her children Debra Fay Tanoff and Jaime Lujan.

She is survived by 3 sons; Anthony Lujan (Lisa) of Katy, Texas, Federico Lujan (Patricia) of Zapata, Texas, and Hector Lujan (Carrie) of Cibolo, Texas.

Her delight was her 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
