Edward Frederick Block IV

Edward Frederick Block, IV, 81, recently of New Braunfels, Texas, and formerly of North Carolina, Hawaii, and Colorado, passed away at his home on Saturday November 30, 2024 in New Braunfels. Born on March 2, 1943 in San Diego, California, he was the son of the late Edward Frederick Block, III and Mary Anne Miller Block.
Edward is survived by his sister Penelope Lindsay of Tucson, Arizona; by his three children: Claire Ongsted of New Braunfels, Texas, Edward Block V of Seguin, Texas, and Russell Block of Austin, Texas; and by a beloved niece and nephew.
Edward achieved a PhD in Behavioral Biology (Neurophysiology) from the University of Kansas in 1974 and Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) in 2007. His interests in retirement included playing the game World of Warcraft.
