Fernando "Ferno" Castaneda

Fernando Castaneda (Ferno) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 25th 2025, at the age of 61.
Fernando was born June 19,1963 in New Braunfels TX to Adolfo and Rosie Castaneda. Fernando was a welder by trade. He was employed with Symons Corporation for over 20 years. Fernando was a kind hearted and happy person. Always joking around and laughing. He enjoyed watching movies, sports, and loved to BBQ, especially for his family. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music. Those that knew Fernando well knew that he also enjoyed playing his guitars.
Fernando was a good father. He loved spending time with his kids. His biggest love was that for his son Xavier. Fernando may be gone, but he will always live in the hearts of those who loved him.
Fernando is preceded in death by his parents Adolfo and Rosie Castaneda, and his twins Cassandra and Fernando Castaneda. Fernando is survived by his Son Xavier Castaneda, and Step Children Michael, Ashley and Robbie, and his siblings; Sara Nava, Judy Estrada, Nancy Hahn, Orlando Castaneda and wife Patricia, Arthur Castaneda and wife Josie, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Fernando was loved dearly by all his family and will be dearly missed.
