Jarrett Carl Nunn (JC), a resident of New Braunfels, passed away unexpectedly of undiagnosed Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (enlarged heart) at his home on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the age of 40.
Jarrett was born on April 15, 1984, in Jamestown, NY to LaDonn James and Melinda Mae Nunn. Jarrett was an avid athlete all his life, excelling in soccer, and most recently enjoyed coaching kids’ soccer, his favorite sport.
Survivors include his loving parents, LaDonn James and Melinda Mae Nunn; his once fiancée, Vanessa Martinez; their son, LaDonn Jarrett Nunn; and Frank and Xander Ms. Matinez’s children who he loved dearly; brother, James Marshall Nunn and wife, Kristin; nephews, Matthew Conner and, Nehemiah James Nunn, along with his grandparents, Marshall Hamilton and Donna Lee Nunn.
A Celebration of Jarrett’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel, 1254 Business 35 N., New Braunfels, Texas 78130.

Jarrett has been my best friend for 18 years and all though I moved out of state I always knew I had a friend just a call away. Jarrett brought the brightest light to even the darkest room.
