Jeanette Watson, 75, of Canyon Lake, Texas passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017, in New Braunfels, Texas. Born in Chapman Ranch, Texas on June 6, 1942, Jeanette was the daughter of Adolph Barth and Lula Bingham Barth. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Douglas Barth and Carlton Barth. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John "Bill" Watson, and their three children, Vonda Perry of Boerne, Texas, John Watson, Jr. (Pam) of McAllen, Texas and Sean Watson (Dawn) of McAllen, Texas. Jeanette is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Kyle Watson, Linda Jean Burke (Jake), Kevin Watson, and Kaitlyn Watson. In addition, Jeanette is survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Henry Barth (Beverly), Jerry Barth, Edward Barth (Marti), Linda Clarke (Lance), Kathy Egle (Tim), and Wayne Barth (Diane). A retired educator, Jeanette taught elementary grade school for 32 years in the Rio Grande Valley (Donna and Sharyland, Texas). Jeanette and Bill moved to Canyon Lake in 1998 to enjoy their retirement and grandchildren in the Hill Country of Texas. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Broaddus, Texas to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Jeanette's name has been setup by the First Baptist Church of Broaddus P.O. Box 600, Broaddus, TX 75929
