John Alton Talley

John Alton Talley, age 68, of Pflugerville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. John was born on December 23, 1949 in Odessa, TX to Cecil and Margaret (Edmonson) Talley. On August 12, 1971, he married Jacqueline Kirby. John had a passion for many things, but racing cars was his favorite! He loved sharing stories of his racing adventures. If you asked him, he never had a bad race. He always said “A bad day at the races, was a good day in life.” John was preceded in death by his father Cecil, mother Margaret, sister Darlene, sister Sandra, and brother Elgin. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline, daughter Crystal (Brad) Hinson, son Travis (April) Talley, sister Louis, brother Ricky, grandchildren Kayla, Travis, Bristol, and Jace, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
