Maria D. Favela, a resident of Seguin, passed away on Friday evening, October 16, 2020 at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin at the age of 76. Maria was born on January 26, 1944 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico to the late Gilberto Marrufo and Francisca Flores. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Luciano Favela; children, Lourdes Torres, Juan Carlos Favela, Jose Luis Favela, Herculano Favela, Juliana Gallegos, Flor A. Gallegos, Lourdes Favela and Carmela I. Bueno; brothers, Javier Marrufo and Bernardo Marrufo; sister, Sylvia Marrufo; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the La Hermosa Church, 408 W. Shelby St., Seguin, TX 78155. All services will end at the conclusion of the funeral on Thursday afternoon.
