Robert "Rob" Young Williams

Robert “Rob” Williams, 68, of Puerto Rico, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Puerto Rico. Born on August 26, 1949 in Three Rivers, Texas, he was the son of Robert Neville Williams and Mary Agnes Magill. Rob is survived by his mother, Mary Magill; wife, Lucy; daughters, Suzanne Williams and Jodie Williams; and son, James Williams. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Willie. Rob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968-1972. He was a very talented welder who enjoyed bar-b-queing on Sundays, going for drives in the country, or losing himself in thought underneath his mango tree. He loved America and instilled those values and respect in his children. Rob had a contagious laugh that he gladly shared with anyone through his jokes, pranks, and overall zest for having a good time. A memorial service with military honors will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel in New Braunfels, TX on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
