Ruben Rodriguez

Ruben M. Rodriguez, 94, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Ruben was born on January 1, 1931 in Baca, New Mexico. He was the son of Salome and Marcia Rodriguez.

Ruben was a big fan of boxing and baseball. During his younger years, he would play with his brothers out at the ranch. When he wasn’t playing baseball, he was at the gym boxing. As he got older, you would often find him shadow boxing while watching replays of fights on YouTube. Ruben was a very presentable man. He greeted his family with hugs and a gentle kiss on the cheek for the ladies. When he met someone new, it was a handshake followed by a confident voice saying, “Mucho Gusto, Ruben Rodriguez.”

Ruben is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, Miguel Angel (Natalie) Delgado, Hector Florencio (Ana) Rodriguez , and Juan Pablo (Guadalupe) Rodriguez Delgado; grandchildren: Vismel, Nayeli, Ruben, Alexis, Frank, Pedro, Daniel, Noah, and Kain. He is loved by many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lux Funeral Home with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to be at 7:00 PM.
