Alfredo Martinez, 50, of New Braunfels, TX, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Born on the July 12, 1962 in New Braunfels, he was the son of Gilberto and Felicita Martinez.
In addition to his parents, Alfredo is survived by his wife, Maria Martinez; children, Leslie and Valerie Martinez, Alfredo Martinez, Jr., Jeremiah Correa and Marisa Villanueva; siblings, Annette Patino, Rudolfo Martinez, Yolanda Perez and Diana Barrientos. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Martinez.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel (1254 Business 35 N.) with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. All services will conclude on Friday. Interment will be private.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Martinez family during this time. I remember the fun we use to have as kids when visiting Rudy and all our cousins in Solms.
My deepest prayers and sincere apologies go out to my cousins that I love very much. I know what it’s like to have your father taken away from you. I am deeply sadden the way the ends of his days played out. I know that he is in a better place. I believe in the promise that one day we will be reunited with our loved ones and there will be no pain, no tears and no fears. All glory to God and Know that I am here for you all.
