  13. Our sincere condolences to the family of Angie. Joe,Francine and I are in sorrow and prayer as Angie was a very important friend and Jamaica volunteer to us and our family at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in New Braunfels . Your steadfast leadership in volunteerism encourged us to Love working the many years during the Jamaicas. I remember how much she loved my mother Manuela “Manuelita Acevedo.” As they worked many endless hours together. Many find menories were made. I appreciated every time she would ask me to bring supplies to her hamburger booths. Especially, when Augustine Ramirez played one year! We were so busy and bringing the buns to her was a nice challenge as many people from as far as Poteet came for that event. Angie was very busy and loving it! She had a very large smile that day and we just laughed and kept on going! Your Angie always had a great smile for Francine and I and will cherish for if all you can do for a person is do just that, smile! She stopped to say hello to my sister Yolanda, her Marine son Lorenzo and i when we were at the Golden Corral. She told us about missing our mom and Lorenzo’s Grandmom and how she loved the many times they worshipped and were members of the Guadalupanas as “Manuelita ” was the President. Best hamburgers ever they made! I always bragged about those hamburgers when We worked the kitchen during the many dances in the hall. They were always in great demand. Cousin Lupe Dominguez and Texana Band played many of those times. May he also rest in Peace. Blessings were many that Angie passed on and may they continue to bring great blessings to all the Volunteer workers at O.L.P.H. now and forever as doing for others in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior as God is our witness is how we are all family in life and when God calls to Heaven. Great and loving example of loving God as Charismatic Catholics Angie and Joe, peace be with you always! Amen.
