Arthur L. Morales, 88, of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in New Braunfels. Born on May 9, 1926 in Kyle, Texas, he was the son of the late Natividad and Nita Morales.
Arthur is survived by his children, Amalia M. Cholico and her husband Samuel, Josephine Kimball and her husband Carson, Jane Solis and her husband Dan, and Carlos Morales; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Henry Morales and his wife Alice; sister Lydia Mireles and her husband Paulino; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and various other family members.
A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 5:00-9:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. The visitation will continue at Holy Family Church on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 9:00-10:00 am with the Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
