Beatrice Sally Citron passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15th. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 19, 1929. She was the daughter of Morris Meyer and Frances (Teplitzky) Levinson. She married Joel Phillip Citron in 1955. Together they raised their daughter Deborah and son Victor. She earned a Bachelors in Economics with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters of Library Science as well as her juris doctor degree from the University of Texas. She was also a Mensa member and worked in various positions including claims examiner, head librarian at St. Mary’s Hall, and Law Director at Saint Thomas University Law Library in Florida. She is survived by her daughter Deborah, her husband Terry and their two children - Tiffany and Marissa; and her son Victor, his wife Tammy, and their children Joel and Anne. She was predeceased by her husband Joel Phillip Citron. The graveside service is scheduled for 9:30 AM on Monday morning, December 24, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, where Beatrice will be interred with her late husband. Please Note: We would ask that her final wishes are observed and there are no flowers sent. Donations can be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
