Benito De Leon

Benito De Leon, 80, of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Colonial Manor in New Braunfels. Born on November 19, 1939 in Hidalgo County, Texas, he was the son of the late Pedro De Leon and Luz Olivares De Leon. In addition to his parents, Benito was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 61 years, Lorenza Villarreal De Leon; daughter, Annette Bishop; brother, Jose De Leon; sister, Geny Ferh De Leon Jaramillo; and great-grandson, Matthew De Leon. Survivors include his children, Edward De Leon, Jaime De Leon (Esme), Frances De Leon, Daniel Jeffrey De Leon (Dina), Carlos De Leon (Denise), Jossette Garza (Edward), Rossette Alonzo (Jesse), and Mary Lou Contreras; sisters, Maria De Jesus De Leon, Elena De Leon, Petra De Leon; brother, Pedro De Leon, Jr.; special grandson, Justin Howard as well as many numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
