Brenda M. McDonald

Brenda M. McDonald, 78, recently of Seguin, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 14, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Born on August 11, 1940 in Lafayette, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Charles Byron Kindred and Aurelia Julia Freida Kindred. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Roland McDonald. Survivors include her daughters, Charlene Hughes and her husband Lee, Crystal McDonald, Jeanann Cook and her husband Ray; sons, William Seth McDonald and significant other Gina Boggs, and Darrell Wayne McDonald; grandchildren; Jennifer, Jeannene, Melvin, Joshua, Brittney, Tod, Levi, Jenalee, Dillon, Jeremy, Nathan and Randel, and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, Colton, Kyle, Matthew, Cheyanne, Riley, Austin, Amelia, Aurora, Nicholas and Elijah and three more great-grandsons on the way. Brenda especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered fondly for her good attitude and how she always tried to entertain people with her sayings and jokes. If she could communicate with everyone now, she would say that she is "in good shape for the shape she's in". A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will take place privately for the family at a later date.
