Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of Cecilia on March 4, 2019.
Cecilia is the third child and first daughter of Kathryn Maxine (McDonnell) Doyle and William Clark Doyle, born in Dixon, Illinois.
She grew up in a large Irish Catholic family with four brothers (John, Bill, Ed and Pat) and two sisters (Kathy and Therese). She always shared fond memories of growing up with her siblings and cousins and the fun times they had together.
Cecilia married James Novak April 11, 1964 and had three daughters Cathy, Mary and Theresa. She dedicated her life to her family and raising her daughters. She also worked many years as a child care giver at a daycare taking care of infants.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Charles Novak, father William Clark Doyle, mother Kathryn Maxine (McDonnell) Doyle, brother John Martin Doyle, brother Patrick McDonnell Doyle. She is survived by daughters Catherine Doyle Novak (Lawrence Charles Diaz), Mary Rita Novak, Theresa Marie Novak (Craig Hardin Clark); grandchildren Dillon Scott Novak-Clark, Emily Marie Quintero, Ryan Cecilia Novak-Clark, Joseph Nicholas Quintero, Kylie RaeAnn Quintero, Kevin James Novak-Clark and Cory Jonathan Novak-Neubert; her best friend Danny Boy; brother William Eugene Doyle (Loretta), Edward Francis Doyle (Ann), Kathleen Louise Turner, Therese Rita Walker (Paul), sister in law Vicki Doyle (John), sister in law Ruth Doyle (Patrick); 2 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
We will miss her quick wit and beautiful smile.
