Christopher William Carroll, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 in Bulverde, Texas at the age of 48. Chris was born on April 7, 1973 in Pearsall, Texas to Bob and Candace Carroll. Chris spent his childhood growing up in Dilley, TX. As a child he loved spending time at his Aunt Jane and Uncle Will’s ranch. After graduating from high school, Chris moved to Corpus Christi where he began bar-tending. He loved to stand behind a bar and tell jokes. He was always trying to make people laugh and feel better. In 2006, Chris met the love of his life in Pearsall, TX. He spent every day caring for his family. He worked tirelessly to make sure that his family was taken care of. He was a great provider. Together Chris and Nicole made a beautiful life together. Chris’ pride and joy were his 5 children. He loved watching scary movies and playing video games with Ben, listening to rock music with Luke, giving hugs to Caden, making up silly names for each other with Jake, and baking cookies with Riley. He also instilled his love of Star Wars, Marvel, camping, and fishing in his kids. He spent many hours playing with them outside and pushing them on the zip line. Chris was always up for a good time and loved to party. He was a good friend to many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Deacon Bob Carroll, his beloved Aunt Jane and Uncle Will as well as his grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Nicole Carroll; children, Ben, Luke, Caden, Jake and Riley; mother, Candace Carroll; siblings, Laura Perez and husband Robert and Rob Carroll; mother-in-law, Pat Reininger; father-in-law, Michael and Sue Ann Reininger; brother-in-law, Shawn and wife Maggie Reininger and Craig and wife Saba Reininger; and sister-in-law, Tamra and husband Josh Garber. Chris is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Church – Honey Creek from 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM on Monday, March 14, 2022 with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 9:30 AM and with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will be held at Dilley Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
