Claire Alice Kollett

Claire Kollett, age 84, and a resident of Marion, Texas joined our heavenly Father on the morning of Tuesday, July 20, 2021at her family home. Born June 4, 1937 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Howard R. Hodsdon and Alice Beatrice Hodsdon. She is survived by her son, Gregory A. Kollett and his wife Laura Kollett and her daughter Linda A. Myers and her husband Theadore W. Myers. A granddaughter, Madison F. Davis and her husband Kevin Ishmeal Davis and a great granddaughter Calypso S. Davis. Claire was involved at the First United Methodist Church in New Braunfels since moving here from Florida in 2007. She became a Stephen Minister and also worked at the local nursing homes bringing songs of joy and serving communion to the patients. She loved being a part of The First United Methodist Church and became involved in the many Bible studies offered and learned more about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Claire's memorial will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church in New Braunfels on San Antonio Street.
