David Dillon, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday morning, September 18, 2017 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 71. David was born on October 17, 1945 in Marlin, TX to William Dawson Dillon and Ellen Sikes Dillon. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 34 1/2 years, Janice M. Dillon; son, Bryan Dillon and wife, Patricia, and their daughter, Emily Dillon. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.

Jan, Bryan and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with David for many years and he will be missed.
Janice, thank you so much for calling me. I thought the world of David and have many happy memories. We would share many stories of our families, funny jokes, and would have such a good time laughing. He was so easy to talk to. I know you, your family, and BJ are missing him terribly. My condolences to David’s family. I worked with David for a short while at Zurich North America. I especially remember taking a Pink Jeep Tour with him in Arizona one year. He was really such a pleasant person to be around. He will be missed.
Jan, my deepest sympathies and thoughts to you and rest of the family. We all go way back all those years in the Farm Bureau family and beyond. I considered David always like a brother and friend. Will think always of him and our many exploits and good times together. Keep the faith.
