David Gramlich passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his residence at Canyon Lake at the age of 75. David was born on July 29, 1936 in McKeesport, PA to William D. Ferguson and Viola Ruth Ferguson. David served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during Korea, Vietnam and during the Congo wars. He was a member of the Cranes Mill Baptist Church, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign War-Post 8800 at Startzville. David worked in the aircraft industry at McDonald Douglas in Long Beach, CA, Randolph Brooks AFB in San Antonio and retired from Emery World Wide in Laredo. He loved to travel with his beloved wife, Kay. David was preceded in death by his parents, William and Viola Ferguson, and by a daughter, Sharon Ramshur. Survivors include his loving wife, Kay Thibodaux Gramlich of Canyon Lake; sons, David Gramlich, Jr. and wife, Kristy, of Lawrenceville, GA, Kenny Dunn of Kirk Kukri, Iraq and Donald Dunn of Baytown, TX; daughters, Carolyn Gramlich of Simi Valley, CA, Donna Gramlich of Canonsburg, PA and Debbie Frazer and husband, Neal of Baytown, TX; grandsons, Joshua and Christopher Ramshur of Victorville, CA; granddaughters, Emily and Sarah of Lawrenceville, GA, Kelly Frazer and Elyssabeth Dunn; great-grandsons, Joshua Frazer and Nicholas Zachary Dunn; great-granddaughters, Lilyan and Paisley of Baytown, TX; step-brothers, William D. Ferguson and wife, Mary, James C. Ferguson and wife, Joyce and Michael Ferguson. In addition, numerous nieces and nephews survive Mr. Gramlich as well. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Cranes Mill Baptist Church at Startzville, with funeral services beginning at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jerry M. Becknal officiating. Interment will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
