  1. My sincerest condolences for the Coots family. My prayers for all of you.
May Gods comfort and love carry you all through this tragedy.

  2. My condolences to the Coots families. I’m sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear David. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:38,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you. For more encouraging thoughts, please see jw.org

  3. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
Going to miss you my friend. I pray that the love of the lord wraps your family in comfort. Love you, David.

  4. Dear Courtney,
I worked with you at Eden Hill. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved husband. We are never prepared for the unexpected passing of a loved one, but know that I am praying for you and your family through this difficult time. I remember what a sweet person you were to work with and it breaks my heart that you are going through this at such a young age. My husband was killed in combat at age 35 which was almost 27 years ago now, and my precious baby Nathan took his own life 3.5 years ago at age 24. So much sadness but God always reminds me that He placed them in my life for me to love and take care of for the short time that I had them on this planet and that I will reunite with them again when my time comes to meet Jesus. That is God’s promise to us and He keeps His promises.

    Love and Hugs,

    Letitia Cooke
