David Shawn Force passed away at his residence in New Braunfels on May 17, 2012 at the age of 46.. David was born on November 10, 1965 in Rockford, IL to Jimmy Force and Carol Black. During most of David's professional career, he was self-employed in the information technology field. David was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Wicks. Survivors include his sons, David Michael Force and Justin Kyle Force; mother, Carol Black; fathers, James Wicks and Jimmy Force; brothers, Joshua Wicks and James Force; sister, Tara Duncan.

I am so sorry to hear the news of the passing of Shawn…. When I think of Shawn I think of the time the family spent time with us in Maine… The tent in the front yard at camp… the cot I had to sleep on because it was all the boys… and the night Shawn decided to get on the cot and put my sleeping bag on top of him, and scared the crap out of me when I went to lay down and he put his arms around me… I remember screaming and all the boys Shawn, Jimmy and Timmy just laughing so hard. 🙂 I will always have great memories of the visit you guys had in Maine with us… Hugs to the family.
