Delia Puentes, age 77, and a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully and has gone to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, February 26, 2021 at Eden Home in New Braunfels. Delia was born on August 10, 1943 in New Braunfels to the late Estanislado Valdez and Nicolasa Cobarrubias Valdez. Delia "Lele" as known by many, was always very involved in her church, New Generation Fellowship, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She loved children dearly and was a Nanny to many throughout the years. She developed life-time relationships and always considered them as family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joaquin Valdez and Estanislado "Tano" Valdez Jr. and sister, Alicia Barrera. Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Jesus Puentes; stepchildren and numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at New Generations Fellowship church, 2719 FM 725, New Braunfels, TX.
