Diego G. Cabrera, a resident of San Marcos, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at the age of 14. Diego was born on May 27, 2003, in Ft. Hood, TX to Aaron Cabrera and Magaly Santos. Diego was beginning his freshman year at San Marcos High School. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed fishing, going to the movies and listening to his favorite band Flogging Molly. He is survived by his parents, Aaron Cabrera and Magaly Santos and her husband, David Perez; siblings, Hazeneth Perez and James Aaron Cabrera. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end at the conclusion of the visitation on Sunday evening.   1. Diego has been my friend ever since I moved to San Marcos, it is a shock to find out what has happened to him, i wish he would still be here with us, may Diego rest in peace.

  6. diego you were and always be in my top 3 .you were funny smart and crazy (in a awesome way) .i wish i could see you one last time .you told me why you would do it but i didn’t think you were fr ..so i cried for days thinking it way partly my fault ..i will never forget you and if that means getting a tattoo of you name ,well ill do it . .to me you were like a family member that i get so happy to see . i will always visit ,i promise

I’ve known you since 3rd grade you always made people laugh even when we were sad you always put a smile on my face even after we stopped talking you always seemed happy but I guess everybody has a secret side I’m sorry it ended this way I wish you were still here you’re always in my prayers I miss you

You and your family are in my prayers for strength beyond normal, and comfort in your time of need. soon our heavenly father  is going to soon  send Jesus to set up  his Kingdom here on Earth.
