Donald Lynn Manley “Don”, 72, of Midland, TX. Passed away at his home in Canyon Lake on December 18, 2018 after a brave and extensive bout with brain cancer. Don was a graduate of Sam Houston High School where he ran track and played football. He attended Tyler College where he pole vaulted. Don was the owner of Manley Metal Buildings and Manley Crane of Midland. He spent 25 years volunteering with CIU and with the Midland County Sheriffs Office. Don was a member of The Blue Knights Motorcycle Club and was an avid fisherman. Don was a self made and well respected member of his community, a devoted husband and loving father. Don was preceded in death by his parents Theophilus and Agnes, brothers Thomas and Charles, sister Margie, first wife Sissy, and in laws CD and Ruby Offield. Don is survived by his beloved wife Judy Manley, his children Robert and wife Katelin, Michael and wife Roni, Codi and husband Erik and his step daughter Nikki and husband Anthony. Don is survived by his grandchildren Cory, Ciaira, Tanner, Jayden, Addison, Kylar, Colton, Kelsay, Kayla and Kensi. He is also survived by his best friend Richard Gillette, longtime friend Ann Brickner and his loved dogs. Memorial Service will be held January 26, 2019 at 10am at Crestview Baptist Church on Loop 250 in Midland.
