  1. I remember Dovie from way back at Eckerd’s…one of my favorite customers…always greeting me with a smile and kind word ! She truly made the world a brighter place !

  3. Sister Dovie Brawley was a sweet , kind, lovely Christian lady. I was privileged to be her Pastor 5 years after the late Pastor Jack Dool, my deceased husband, passed away. We were the founding Pastors of Greater Life Church of New Braunfels. Sister Dovie was a very faithful, loyal member about 15 years while we were there. She loved the Lord with all her heart and had great faith in God’s healing. One Sunday she asked me to anoint a prayer cloth for a friend in the nursing home who was in a wheelchair and the doctors had said he didn’t have long to live. But she had faith to believe God would heal him If we prayed according to Acts 19:12. She took the anointed cloth to him and in a few days he was healed and got up walking. She was so happy and gave praise to the Lord!! She will be so missed not only by her children & family, but her church family. My heartfelt sympathy to all of her family. I know Sister Dovie is rejoicing in her Heavenly home with her Lord & King!! My love and prayers are with You in your loss, but Heaven’s gain. Pastor Joyce Dool Clayton
