  4. Cheryl and I are praying for your family in this time of sorrow. We will miss Mike, and I will always have fond memories of working at the PD and getting my adjustments. We had many great conversations over the years. More importantly, Mike was always a spriritual sounding board, and had great insight that I truly admired.

  5. Our prayers are with you and the rest of the family> I pray they soon find a cure or prevention for ALS as it is taking too many of our fine Christian men,

  6. My deepest and most sincere condolences to every member of Mike’s family. I will miss him very much as he provided both Connie and myself with his chiropractic skills and his friendship. Mike will be missed by so many in this community, most of all his loving wife Diane and all of his family.

  7. I have so many memories of going with my mom every week to Dr. Osborne’s office in New Braunfels, then to his home office where I also got adjustments. Dr. Osborne was a kind soul, one of the kindest men I have ever met. I loved his passion for life, his passion for all of his varied interests, and his love for his family. Sending you a big hug, Diane!

  8. We will always remember his smile whenever we talked to him and I know the families will surly miss his presence in their lives. Our hearts are saddened with his passing and condolences to all family members and friends.

  10. Diane, Michael, Heather and family… I was saddened to hear of Mike’s passing but remember fondly the impact he had on my life. He was a teacher, a mentor and the kind of friend few men find. I was fortunate to know him and he will be missed. Few can know the contributions he made to this community through his work as a police investigator. I find comfort in knowing he has the big forge fired up now and is enjoying the Lords company. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  11. Dear Diane and family, We are so sad to hear of Mike’s passing but at the same time know that he is with Jesus, complete and whole again. God Bless You as you continue to walk this journey… We will be praying for you Chuck and Lora West

  12. I am so shocked and saddened to hear of this huge loss of such a kind and gentle man. As a police officer, Mike once (to both our embarrassment) had to pull me over for speeding — after his ‘talk’ with me, I felt like crying — he was so gentle and so RIGHT…and he only gave me a warning, so very Christ like now that I think back on it. Diane, my heart breaks for you. Sending you and the entire family my love and hugs. barb reininger

  13. Michael was a great person. We never knew him as a police officer, but he took great care of our tired bodies. His camping stories were so fun. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to the family.

  14. As I recall the many times Mike and you reached out to me when I walked in your footsteps a few years back, I am reminded of the sweetness of those gentle hugs and kind words. While I was unaware of Mike’s illness until now, I know he is in a far better place. He is walking on streets of gold and sitting at the feet of Jesus. Praising the one who gave His all that we might have life eternal. May God keep you and comfort you as you face the days and weeks ahead. If I know anything, I know He will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can think or ask. Many blessings with love are being sent your way.

  15. Diane – our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, as they have been daily since we heard of Mike’s diagnosis. You are very special to us. Much love, Norm & Janet Sweet

  16. Diane and family, I was shocked to learn of Dr. Mike’s passing. Tony was fortunate to work with him at the Police Department and I appreciate when he took care of my body catches and aches. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. With sincere sympathy, Tony and Ann Celli

  18. My heart and prayers go out to your family, Diane. I remember way back when we worked together at the school tax office and you talked lovingly about Mike. Years later I ran into you in the grocery store and you had recently had your daughter. Again, you showed much love for Mike in your voice. I lost track of you and recently read about your loss. May God give you comfort in knowing Him and trusting in His plan for each of our lives.

His picture looks like a “grown up, little Mike” Wish we could all get together one more time and remember the wonderful days of the San Leandro church family. My love to everyone.

  31. Diane and Family–it is odd to have come across this obituary by accident and realize that one knew the deceased. I am Nancy and Herschel Davis’s daughter, Shelly. So often I will tell stories of Mike and Clancy in particular, and the fun and pranks we used to have. The San Leandro church was wonderful in those days. I am so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. The guestbook sure makes it sound like you are surrounded by physical and eternal love. My heartfelt condolences.
