Eddy put up a strong fight against his disease since his diagnosis in 2015 and was told at that time that his life expectancy was 2 years. Eddy lasted for 7 years mainly due to ongoing care and support from his loving mother and aunt, and the outstanding medical support from a myriad of doctors and specialists. The family thanks the nurses, techs and doctors from Fresenius Kidney Care, especially RNs Lee Lopez, and Magellan Handford, his Nephrologists Dr. Matthias Simon, and Dr. Shadi Mourad. Thanks also to his Primary care doctor Benyam Alemu who cared for him with much kindness and caring.
