Eliseo Alcorta Machado, Sr., age 73, and a resident of Seguin, passed away on Saturday morning, April 20, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 14, 1945 in Lytle, TX, he was the son of the late Cresencio Machado and Ruperta Alcorta Machado. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Marie Machado and by his granddaughter, Aiyana Marta Flores. Survivors include his wife, Olga Ocanas Machado; children, Ruperta Flores, Belia Ochoa, Irene Evans, Eliseo Machado, Jr. and Christina Najera; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition Eliseo is survived by his siblings, Eufemia Guzman, Eraclio Machado, Irene Garza, Pauline Mancha, Herminia Nevarez, Jose Machado, Mary Machado, Cresencio Machado, Alicia Quintana, Erasmo Machado, Jesse Machado and Sylvia Machado. Eliseo proudly served in the United States Army. He later went on to work for the railroad as a truck driver. He enjoyed playing dominoes, fixing and selling cars, playing pool, fishing, barbequing and hanging out with his friends.
