Elizabeth Marie Trevino and her husband, Augustine "Augie" Garcia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 9, 2012 at their residence in New Braunfels. Elizabeth was 37 years old. She was born on December 4, 1974 in New Braunfels to Fernando Rivera Trevino, Sr. and Alice Marie Fuentes Trevino. Elizabeth was employed at CTMC in San Marcos as a certified nursing assistant. Survivors include her children, Samantha, Sabrina and Savannah Garcia; parents, Fernando Trevino, Sr. and Alice Marie Trevino; siblings, Fernando Trevino, Jr. and wife, Johnnie and Christopher Lee Trevino; grandfather, Mike M. Fuentes; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at New Generations Fellowship, 169 S. Hickory, New Braunfels, 78130, followed by the funeral service, which starts at 10:00 AM with Pastor Joe Tostado officiating. All services will end at the conclusion of the funeral at the church.

I went to school with Elizabeth in Frisco. She will always be remembered for her sweet and kind personality, and her love for the Lord. I pray for comfort and peace for her family and friends but most of all her daughters. Elizabeth will be remembered always. Her Light has not been diminished due to her death. It will shine forever.
ET may you rest in peace. May you go with the Angeles and sing with them. The memories we had as young foolish girls will always be in my heart. Watch over your beautiful daughters and guide them to make the choices in life. Goodbye friend.

My condolences to Elizabeth’s children & to her parents & family. I worked with Elizabeth at New Braunfels Regional Rehab Hospital. She was an amazing person with a beautiful personality & great smile. She was always singing, dancing, & laughing at work. The patients loved her. She is truly missed by us all at NBRRH. Liz I dnt knw where to start first I will miss u second still n shock. I remember when u worked n d acounting office and you would hav to write all the stores down who didn’t properley put an invoice in. In I would be on dat list n I would tell u “liz quit callen me out lol” u would look at me wit a smile and say “well fel” and dat b it.. I well always remeber dat cause id always be in troble for dat. I’m foreva greatful I got to knw u. Thanks for stop n at store 8 jus to say hello at times. Elizabeth was such a wonderful person with immense inner grace. She was always so happy, and she brought out the best in everyone because she saw the best in everyone. She was so loving and kind to the patients at work and always so generous with her coworkers. We are so devastated by this loss. It is just unfathomable that such a beautiful life could be so needlessly cut short. I follow her example as I search for answers and forgiveness.
