Eloisa Guzman, 69, of Seguin, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 in New Braunfels. Born on June 5, 1953 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Marcos Gutierrez Chavez and Alicia Mancilla Barrera Gutierrez. Eloisa is survived by her husband, Alberto Guzman; children, Yadira “Diane”, Maria del Rosario “Rosie”, Adrian and his wife Patricia, Jose Manuel “Joey”, Reynaldo Garza, and Zoila Alicia “Zoey” Garza Ortiz and husband Jose Angel “Duck”; Grandchildren, Desirae, Destiny Marie, Daisy Danielle, Jessica, Cameron “CJ”, Adrian, Jr. “AJ”, Adriana, Haley, Kacey, Denali, Dahlia, Amesty Rae, Kyler, Josiah; Great-grandchildren, Alan, Jr., Alynah, Aria, Kinsley, Mason, Jaxon, Izaiah, Zadie, Liam, Delilah, Jeremiah, Penelope; sister, Beatrice Gutierrez. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters. Eloisa was a housekeeping manager for over 25 years, and also enjoyed cleaning and decorating her own home. She loved watching wrestling, Spanish futbol, and boxing. Her favorite things were singing, playing Bingo, shopping at Goodwill, Tequila Rose and having coffee with her girls. She cherished the time spent with her family. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00-9:00 PM with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Holy Family Church with reception to follow.
