Evelyn E. Kimmons, a resident of Austin, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Round Rock Medical Center at the age of 96. Evelyn was born on July 29, 1916 in La Vernia to Jon Williams and Carrie Stanteen Williams. She later married Francis M. Kimmons, who preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by her son, Gary Kimmons. Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Cranes Mill Cemetery at Canyon Lake. Graveside services will immediately follow at 9:00 AM with Pastor Janet Hunter officiating.
