Faye Boone

faye boone
Faye (Olga) Paulson Boone Faye passed away in Wimberley, Texas February 15, 2022. Born in Monahans, Texas. Faye was a loving person. She always thought about others before herself. She spent most of her life in West Texas where she worked in hospitals and nursing home facilities as a CNA. She married James Mack Boone in 1962. Faye and James had a daughter Tamara Karin Boone Sutherland in 1963. She loved being outside and visiting neighbors. Faye never met a stranger. She was very friendly and caring to everyone she met. Faye was witty and dependable. She was loved by many people. Her pride and joy were her 2 granddaughters Tessa DeAnne Sutherland Morrison and Makaylie Nicole Sutherland Wilson. The oldest granddaughter, Tessa called her NaNa, which became her grandma name. She was a great NaNa and loved taking her granddaughters to garage sales and church on Sundays. Having her granddaughters, as she would say made her life; until she became a great NaNa from Makaylie, with her first great grandson, Kinsler Wesley Wilson. He was the love of her life and spent her time watching him grow up. Then, life gets better and she gets a new granddaughter, Holland Nicole Wilson, Kinslers’ sister, which she adored because Holland reminded her of her of Makaylie. As the years went by and NaNa was declining in her memory, she had 2 more great grandkids from Tessa. Celia Grace Morrison and Lane Joseph Morrison. Her favorite saying was, “hurry, come here and let me show you something”. The saying goes way back when her daughter was younger to the great grandkids. Faye was preceded in death by her husband James Mack Boone, parents Anna and Gunnard Paulson, brother John (Keg) Paulson, and sister Karin Paulson Raper. Faye is survived by her daughter, Tamara Boone Sutherland, granddaughters Tessa and Makaylie, and her four great grand kids.
