Fernando Hernandez, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, TX at the age of 62. Fernando was born on May 11, 1952 in New Braunfels to the late Gilberto Hernandez and Santos Campos Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez was a big Texas Longhorn fan, and worked several years as a floor technician. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers, Tony and Armando Hernandez. Survivors include his daughters, Norma and Robin Hernandez; grandsons, Gabriel Castilleja and Isaac Saldana; brothers, Juan and Ray Hernandez; sisters, Regina Martinez and Elvia Eureste. In addition, Fernando was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume from 9:00am to 10:00am on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1390 Hanz Dr. in New Braunfels. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am at the church. All services will end at the conclusion of the funeral service on Thursday morning.
