Florence Sue Stevens

In loving memory of Florence Sue Stevens, who passed peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2017. She was born on March 8, 1935 in Sallisaw, OK to Joe and Dorothy Mosby. She was preceded in passing by her life long friend and husband William Stevens. They were married for 45 years until he died. Sue enjoyed collecting antiques, sewing, gardening, and playing canasta. Sue came from a large family of nine children and is survived by two sisters Francis and Alma and brothers Joe and Sherell. Mother of Darell, Carrie, Errol, Shelley, and Leila. Grandmother to Darrel, Tanya, Cammie, Cory, Carrie, Aiden, Crystal, Tammy, Dana, James II, Candi, Terry Don, Ashlee, and Tamara. Great grandmother to Mason, Tanner, Erin, Candis, Robert, Christin, Braeden, Preston, Justine, James, Caulin, Cameron, Tamela, Danica, and Bristol. Sue also has one great-great grandchild Kyler. We would like to thank our friends and family members that have cried with us, prayed with us, shared wonderful memories, sent flowers, and reminded us of the hope that we have in seeing mom again in Heaven. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Rhonda and Errol Stevens and Cammie and Chris Coffey for their patience and loving kindness in the care they gave Mom. Actions and deeds speak louder than words. Thank you for everything. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 11:30 a.m.
