Gabriel "Bird" Aguirre, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away unexpectedly in New Braunfels on Saturday morning, March 31, 2012 at the age of 22. Gabriel was born on March 9, 1990 in New Braunfels to Reynaldo L. Aguirre, Sr. and Angelita Espinoza Aguirre. During his working career, "Bird" was a self-employed mechanic. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ramon Espinoza, and by a cousin, Diego Saenz. Survivors include his father, Reynaldo L. Aguirre, Sr.; mother and step-father, Angelita Espinoza and Roland Rodriguez; brothers, Reynaldo Aguirre, Jr. and wife, Jessica, Joe Anthony Aguirre and Robert Ryan Aguirre; maternal grandmother, Fermina L. Espinoza; paternal grandparents, Richard and Julia Aguirre. In addition, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends survive "Bird" as well.

March 31st, 2012 was a sad day for many Gabriel. You were one of a kind and dear to many, it shows. I know you are at peace now, resting eternally in a safe place watching over your family and friends, you will be missed and loved always.
