Irene Ramirez, age 85, passed away at Christus Santa Rosa on Monday, September 13, 2021. Irene was born on December 8, 1935 in Fentress, Texas to Gavino and Anatacia Reyes.
In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Aucencio Ramirez, who passed away Sept. 2013; and her five siblings, Estefana Limon, Pedro Negrete, Camilla Ortiz, Tommy Rosas, and Ramona Cerda. She is survived by her son, Ceaser J. Ramirez. Irene is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Prairie Lea.
