Isaac "Newton" Mitchell, a resident of Spring Branch, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 75. Mr. Mitchell was born on January 18, 1936 in Lockhart to Isaac Newton Mitchell, Sr. and Zatella Field Mitchell. During his professional career, Newton was a self-employed rancher, wrought iron fabricator, and industrial lubricant dealer. He is survived by his sons, Kirk I. Mitchell, with wife Kellie, Brian Mitchell, and Clark Mitchell, with wife Michele. In addition, Mr. Mitchell is survived by four grandchildren, Claire, Catelyn, Dalton and Caleb. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel, 1254 Business 35 N. with Pastor Ron Zipp officiating. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of one's choice.

  10. I have quite a few memories of my great-uncle. He always wanted to talk and I always listened…..even if I didnt know how a truck motor worked…He used to come down to the ranch and visit my nonny(his sister)they would stay up and talk about the old times… I really liked to hear about it. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of need.
