Jim and I were very close friends with RJ through high school and college years. He was the Best Man at our wedding in 1964, and we still use the steak knives he gave us at that time. We lost track of each other as we both moved around over the years, but every once in awhile our paths would cross, and we’ve never forgotten him or stopped thinking about him.
