Jana Lorraine Duty-Hunsicker

Jana Lorriane Duty-Hunsicker, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, April 24th in Rockport Texas. Jana was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 1, 1964 to her mother, JoAnn Duty and her father the late, Beldon Brent Duty. Jana was the fourth child of five girls. She is survived by her four sisters, Linda Mauger, Leah Dunn, Joette Schoolcraft and Catrina Duty. She first gained a teaching degree from the University of Texas San Antonio and later continued her education to obtain a law degree from St Mary’s University Law School. She was a proud public servant for the majority of her adult life. She met and married the love of her life, Daniel Ray Hunsicker, and together they raised three amazing children; Aarica Fitch, Jessica Cheatham and Daniel Hunsicker Jr. Jana was the proud “Nana” to four beautiful grandchildren: Elijah, Kendall, Tristan and Atticus. She has left this earth to be with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by so many friends and family. A private service will be held in San Antonio.
