Jesusa Gonzales

Jesusa Martinez Gonzales, age 77, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022. Jesusa was born on December 23, 1944 in New Braunfels, Texas to Benito Martinez, Sr. and Louisa Campos Martinez. Jesusa was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto Gonzales. Survivors include her children, Dalia “Dolly” Gonzales, Babina Gomez (Roger), Gilbert Gonzales, Jr., David Gonzales, and Ricardo “Ricky” Gonzales; grandchildren, Alfredo Varela Jr., Crystal Velasquez, Valerie Floyd, Melissa Sanchez, Tiffany Maldonado, Amanda Rinza, Victoria Maldonado, David "Nick" Gonzales, Ashley Montanez, Cynthia "Nicole" Mendoza, Maxine Gonzales, Kristen Rosales, Samantha Gonzales, Abigail Sanchez, Heavenly Gonzales, Andres "AJ" Flores, Bryan Flores, Raini Henderson, Sierra Gonzales, and Joshua Gonzales; 39 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchild; and siblings, Manuel Campos Martinez (Helen), Gloria Martinez Gallegos, Carmen Vasquez, Margaret Armendariz, Dora Bustos (Chavello), Yolanda Varges (Victor), Benito Martinez, Jr. (Gloria) and, Gene Martinez (Fran). Jesusa is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Holy Family Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul #2.
